Navi-XS Overview:  The FALCOM GmbH introduces a new Bluetooth GPS receivers “NAVI-XS POI” intended to be used as a navigation system and to notify drivers when approaching within a certain radius of certain points-of-interest (POI). If you store these points in the unit that contains the longitude and latitude, NAVI-XS POI starts monitoring your current driving position and checks whether you approach one of the points of interest from one of the points it has found. If you are approaching one of the stored points of interest, NAVI-XS POI informs you by generating periodically audio signals.

Pre-loaded points of interest can be almost anything worth stopping at, such as Gas stations, banks, rest stops, restaurants, businesses, landmarks, parks, shopping etc. Custom points of interest can be downloaded in the NAVI-XS POI using a specific software provided by the FALCOM GmbH. In regards to the size, NAVI-XS POI is one of the smallest (66 x 46 x 20 mm) Bluetooth GPS receivers currently available.

 The Location Advantage: The location awareness of the Navi-XS allows it to carry out typical positioning applications such as navigation, finding streets and routes, travel planning, and finding POIs.
