Smallest Size, Low Power, Multimode A-GPS Solution

Now get the functional blocks of a low power GPS receiver in a tiny 4x6x1.0 mm-sized, 77-pin BGA chip. Made possible with the help of a 90-nanometer CMOS and 0.18 micron SiGe process technologies, this ROM-based device fully integrates a low-noise amplifier and fractional synthesizer, shrinking the GPS solution cost and size. SiRF® proprietary technology minimizes RF jamming and compression issues, and enables self-managed periodic fix modes and a 5 µA power saving mode.
