Rob Baxter
Senior VP

Mr. Baxter has 30 years of global semiconductor experience in Consumer, Automotive and Telecom markets, with Centrality, Motorola Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, Chartered Semiconductor and Cubic Wafer (formerly Xanoptix).

Prior to SiRF, Mr. Baxter was President and CEO of Centrality Communications, Chief Executive at Xanoptix (now Cubic Wafer) and held the position of Senior Vice President and Member of Office of the President at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing.

Mr. Baxter also held Vice President and General Manager positions in Europe, USA and Asia during a 16-year career at Motorola. Amongst his accomplishments were the successful leadership of Motorola’s European Microcontroller, DSP, and Microprocessor Operations, Advanced Digital Consumer Division based in Tokyo, and Consumer and Smartcard Microcontroller Division based in Austin.
