John Quigley
VP of Engineering

Mr. Quigley has over 20 years of research and product development experience in the semiconductor and wireless products industry with Airgo Networks, Motorola Semiconductor, Siemens and Prisma.
 
Prior to SiRF, Mr. Quigley was the VP of Engineering for Airgo Networks (now Qualcomm) where he led the engineering teams introducing the industry’s first three generations of commercially successful 802.11a/b/g compatible MIMO WLAN products.
 
Mr. Quigley also held the position of Global Director for Motorola Semiconductor Radio Product Design Operations and Manager of Motorola’s Low Power Circuits and Systems Research Lab during his 13-year career at Motorola. His accomplishments include several successful R&D projects developing low power microcontrollers, digital signal processors, data converters and frequency synthesizers, founding what is now Freescale’s Ireland Design Centre, leading the teams that first migrated the BiCMOS transceiver products to highly integrated CMOS solutions for 2G and EDGE transceivers and launching several generations of successful follow on transceivers in the cellular market. John received his BS and MSEE from Colorado State University, has 9 issued patents and over 20 publications and conference presentations.
