James M. Smaha has served as one of SiRF’s directors since October 2000. Upon retiring in 1989, Mr. Smaha served as an independent consultant, including with S3 and interWAVE Communications International Ltd., a telecommunications company. Prior to 1989, Mr. Smaha served as President and Executive Vice President of the Semiconductor Group of National Semiconductor Corporation from 1983-1989. Mr. Smaha holds a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Maine.
